Growing up, I had one dream, and one dream only to be Batman. The older I get, the more I realize that my chances of becoming the Dark Knight are rather slim. For one, I have no money, and Bruce Wayne had billions of dollars. Also, Ive never been in a fight. And what can you know about yourself if youve never been a fight? However, I do live two lives of sorts. By day, I am a college professor. But by night, I am a brooding singer/songwriter, stalking the streets of New York City with my piano in tow. Actually, I dont have my piano in tow, because that would be impractical. But I am brooding.
I recently completed a new full-length album, I Have Never Been Fond of Falling From Heights (Swan Dive Into The Atlantic). Written in Ireland, I recorded most of the album in my apartment in NYC. Released on May 5, 2009, the album is available digitally on iTunes, Amazon, eMusic, Rhapsody and Napster. CDs are available for purchase from Amazon.
Fresh off of a four week pre-release tour, I am planning to spend much of the Summer and Fall promoting the record - both here in the US and abroad. Check back often for updated tour dates.
