In Aimee's own words, 'I bought my first guitar in March 2008. Since then I have written a number of songs of loss, love, bad times, good friends and home. I also play piano which is also something I decided to take on when I began writing March 08. I am inspired by musicians such as Bob Dylan and Steely Dan from my childhood, too Noah & the Whale and Norah Jones. My music is has a modern folk-pop feel. You can listen to its lyrics or just simply enjoy its sound. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoy making it....:) '
