A classically trained composer and trumpet player, Simon blends jazz and soul with pop to produce a distinctive, fresh sound. Having opened for both Lionel Richie and Smokey Robinson, as well as performing lead vocals in The National Concert Hall for the Beatles "Love" Concert, Simons been building his reputation as a formidable performer. Adding this to live radio sessions on The Ryan Tubridy show on RTE Radio One and The Afternoon Show on BBC Radio Ulster.
In 2008 Simon Fagan signed a recording deal with Dublin label SiAn Records, which will see him release 2 EPs in 2009 and an album in early 2010. The first of these, Hired And Fired was produced by Simon Fagan and Martin Quinn (Juliet Turner, Turn, Ham Sandwich) at Jam Studios, Kells.
