FUNZO are a six-piece, genre-hopping musical outfit, fronted by songwriter, Liam McDermott. Performing under a number of monikers and with over 30 different members since 2006, McDermotts musical collective has evolved into a tightly-knit, versatile six-piece known as FUNZO.
Despite retaining only two members from their debut gig in 2006, the influence of every person to have played with the group remains evident in FUNZOs unique brand of hip-hop and reggae-inflected pop anthems. With appearances on Phantom FM and Flea TV, confirmation for Electric Picnic and Le Cheile Festival, FUNZO are in for one busy summer.
