Allegro are just not like every band nowadays.
It's not enough to tell tales of Spanish transvestites, old boys on the run in Spain, pixies enchanting ones dreams, or even to simply declare that they are gonna Steal Your City Lights (which they undoubtedly will).
It's not even enough that the songs they play are instantly recognisable like one of your old favourites, even though you know you've never heard them before.
These are mere footnotes though my friends, because the true delight is that Allegro are something to believe in. And love God dammit.
Their cheekiness endearing, their songs enchanting, exuding a fuzzy romance and doffing a cap at the world they have created, they really will change everything... or at least your Friday night. This band will steal your hearts and souls and fall in love with you. Just as you will fall in love with them.
