In the Sensors own words - After relocating from California to Ireland in 2002, Heather Thompson set about creating a rock band to suit her eclectic tastes. She found some very talented musicians and they have been making a delightful racket as The Sensors in a number of venues around Dublin ever since, including a successful show at the SpiegelTent in 2005 as a part of the Fringe Festival.
Most recently the Sensors won the grand prize at the King Kong Club finale just before Christmas and a two-track CD will be available mid-June 2006. Their energetic set embraces rock, punk, and reggae, a mix of original compositions and well-placed covers.
