John Shelly and the Creatures finally came to fruition in January 2007. Formed by. a group of college friends and graduates who still want to be 16 years of age.
The name of the group is attributed to the meeting of two homeless Irish twins in a Berlin bar in 2005, and as odd as it sounds, it is quite a funny story.
The line up is a constant core of five and a constantly changing group of part timers that come and go as they please.
The core include:
ger gormley - bass, guitars, vox
kev carlisle - banging bins!
naomi dunleavy - violins
phil d'Alton - guitars, keys, vox
walter - guitars, vox
The result is a mish/mash of genres and styles broken and borrowed from some of our favourite artists.
