Japanese Toys are an alternative rock band who specialize in four part harmonies and catchy guitar riffs. currently recording songs for an upcoming e.p., with an album release hopefully early next year, the band will be gigging in dublin and countrywide in the coming months. making it to the final of the whelan's brave new stage competition last year, they have previously appeared in hotpress, and supported such well - known irish acts as the thrills, national prayer breakfast, blink and turn. the band have also had airplay on phantom fm and have reached no.1 in the chart on irishsongwriters.ie. influences include weezer, queen, jimmy eat world, and thin lizzy (yes, this is a twin lead lovin' band!).
