Under water in Peru.

Relentless flooding in Peru is forcing scores of people to flee their homes.

Some people have lost everything.

(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) UNIDENTIFIED FLOOD VICTIM, SAYING:

"It took everything. We don't have anything. If you want to go we can go now to see if there is anything left. I went and that's where I got this [injury]."

Trees are swept by rivers.

Flood gates are overwhelmed.

And so far there is no end in sight with more rain in the forecast.
