Movie "Shobhana's 7 Nights" Interview

A lot has been written about Sudipto Chattopadhyay's movie titled "Shobhana's 7 Nights" and how the movie is loosely based on Shobhaa De, and her professional relationship with David Davidhar, the publisher of her novels. However, the director is upset with these comparisons and feels it's wrong to make such generalizations simply because his female protagonist is a successful pulp fiction writer and gossip columnist and the man is in the publishing industry.
