Opposite actions when it comes to payouts at UK bank RBS

Chairman of the UK's Royal Bank of Scotland Sir Philip Hampton has turned down a payment worth more than 1.6 million euros, apparently describing it as 'inappropriate'. Hampton was awarded the money in shares when he joined RBS in 2009. In contrast, there has been anger at a bonus to the bank's head Stephen Hester of more than one million euros which he has not said he will not accept. http://www.euronews.net/
