Tel Aviv's Fast Lane is due to be opened for traffic on Friday, January 7th. The toll lane will start at Ben Gurion airport and will integrate with Ayalon fast lane. Getting fast to Tel Aviv will not be cheap, as using the lane will vary between 7 to 75 shekels, correspondingly with rush hours. Electronic signs will update on real time the current cost of getting on the lane. Since the main purpose of the road is to encourage the use of public transportation, a parking lot with over 2,000 parking spots would be available at the beginning of the fast lane, where arranged public transportation will be heading to the heart of Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan in high frequencies.
