Hip Hop and 'R and B' star Missy Elliott is set to appear in Israel for the first time. The American Grammy award winner will appear at the Biton Echad arena in Tel Aviv on July 15. With the popular Israeli rap artists Dag Nachash set to accompany the singer, tickets are expected to be sold out within days. Israeli music producer Shuki Viess has been behind the negotiations to secure the concert in Israel. The singer who was born in 1971 decided to become a singer at the age of four. She had a troubled background and left home at 14. In 1990 she started her own band Fayze and her singing career began. Relaunching as Missy Elliott, her albums such as 'Bad Boy' and 'Super Dupa Fly' have won her six Grammy Awards.
