S&P downgrades outlook on US debt to negative

http://www.nma.tv/ Standard & Poor's has changed its outlook on US credit from "stable" to "negative." There is a one-in-three chance S&P will soon downgrade the US's previously rock solid triple-A rating. The grim news sent the stock market plummeting on Monday and sent investors into a panic. S&P based its decision on fears partisan disagreements will stall a budget resolution through 2013. The Obama administration is trying to downplay the news while still asking for support to raise the deficit ceiling. How much longer until America drowns completely in debt?
