Romanian stowaway survives -40C flight ordeal

A 20-year-old Romanian man had a lucky escape after he climbed into the undercarriage of plane at Vienna airport. The plane, a Boeing 747 owned by the Dubai royal family, then took off for London leaving the man to survive the freezing cold and a lack of oxygen during the flight at 7000m plus above sea level. The man was apprehended by security staff after tumbling out of the aircraft as it landed. Miraculously unhurt, the man was questioned by police and later released as he was a European Union citizen.
