Taliban alleged to be using AIDS bombs

The Taliban are burying dirty syringes along with explosives in a bid to infect NATO troops with the HIV virus, according to press reports. The weapons are being used in Afghanistan's Helmand Province. When a bomb goes off the needles become deadly shrapnel and could contain both HIV and hepatitis, the Sun newspaper reported.
