Andriej Ivanov, 26, intended to kill himself after his fiancée died in a car crash the day before their wedding. At the bridge where he planned on killing himself, he found Maria Petrova, 21. She was upset because her parents had thrown her out of the house for getting pregnant. Both Ivanov says Petrova were planning to kill themselves but fate brought the two together.
