Winner of the Whitley Award 2010 donated by The Shears Foundation was Jimmy Muheebwa. Jimmy is inspiring communities in Lake Victoria's catchment zone, Uganda, to use the wetlands sustainably and is saving the region's local wildlife, including Uganda's national bird, the grey-crowned crane.
