It has been claimed that, however it is measured, whether by economic performance, political stability or internal security, the Pakistani state is failing its people. What prospect is there of radical reform from within? Imran Khan would dearly like to be Pakistan's agent of change. For 15 years the former cricket star has led a reformist political party. He says his country has now reached a tipping point comparable to the Arab Spring, but are Pakistanis ready to put their faith in Imran Khan? He talks to Stephen Sackur.
