Alex is a 2005 Telugu movie starring Haranath, Rambha, Sangeetha, Shiju, Kousha, Indu Anand, Hema, Surya, Rami Reddy, Venu Madhav, Prabhu and Vizag Prasad.
Alex means Alexander, a police officer on special duty. He employs himself on a job he calls 'Blue Fox Operation'. He knows only one thing - save the innocent and shoot dead the criminals. His argument is that if a criminal gets time to fight in court, he will easily get away and becomes free and starts prowling on roads for his new victims.
The crime in this film is the murder of a minister named Pasupathi (Lakshmipathi). Who shot the minister, is the issue. His superior -- DGP, gives Alex the job of killing him. But even before he touched his trigger, there was a flow of bullets on the victim taking his life instantly. The film established in the opening shot that Alex is a kind-hearted person and goes to the rescue of some of the victims of a plane crash into the sea. Deepika (Rambha), a TV newsperson gets attracted to his valor. But Deepika is equally shocked when he returns into her life. He then narrates his story to her as a flashback.
Sanyasi Naidu, addressed as Sunny (Shiju), is the right hand man of another minister (Rami Reddy), whose daughter, Sunny is going to wed. He is already in love with another woman, whom he is going to ditch. Deepika starts loving Alex, for his display of valor. And there is a third woman in the story of a police officer, played by Sangeetha, who is posted to investigate into the murder of the politician Pasupathi and study the role played by Alex in this. The rest of the story concentrates on the exposure of the role played by the DGP, politician Rami Reddy and Sunny, together, in masterminding and executing of the murder of Pasupathi.
