Carnage in Syria.
Amateur video out of Syria shows the dead and the wounded on the streets of Homs.
The video, which could not be independently verified by Reuters comes amid reports that at least 20 people were killed in Homs Monday.
The bloodshed comes a day ahead of a planned visit by Arab League monitors who are on the ground to verify whether or not President Bashar al Assad is ending a violent crackdown on unrest.
More footage appears to shows tanks on the street in a town under siege.
The United Nations estimates that at least 5,000 people have been killed since the uprising began in March.
The Assad government say it is battling an insurgency by armed Islamist terrorists.
Syria has banned most independent media from the country making it difficult to verify accounts of activists or the government.
