South Korea rescues Russia ship in Antarctica

After more than a week, help has arrived for the crew stranded aboard a Russian vessel in the Antarctic. The boat named 'Sparta' ran into trouble after developing a hole in its hull. Help comes in the form of a South Korean icebreaker which has made an eight-day trip from New Zealand. It will try to weld a 'doubler plate' onto Sparta, making her seaworthy. http://www.euronews.net/
