Leo Dreyer & His Orchestra - Pompanola

Unfortunately, like so many bands that mainly recorded for Edison, sadly this orchestra ended up in undeserved oblivion. I could hardly find any information than that he seems to have been a member of Lada's Louisiana Orchestra besides leading his own band at some point. However, I could not obtain confirmation of the fact that Leo J. Dreyer is actually the same person as the bandleader credited on this label. Whoever is playing, the orchestra is amazing and offering a truly hot performance on this 1928 recording. Rust does not identify anyone of the musicians.
