Caravan of Hope 11: How to eat a flying ant
  • 12 years ago
http://www.christianaid.org.uk/ActNow/climate-justice/caravan-of-hope-2011/index.aspx The Caravan of Hope runs into a cloud of flying white ants - or termites - on the border of Zimbabwe and Botswana. But one of the members of the Caravan explains that the ants are a useful source of protein. Christian Aid partner PACJA has organised the Caravan of Hope which left from Burundi last week, transporting up to 200 climate change activists including crop farmers, pastoralists and representatives of women's groups to the UN talks on climate change in South Africa, which start at the end of November.
