Tom Cruise brings Mission Impossible to Dubai.
The cast of the fourth installment of the film franchise hit the red carpet to celebrate the movie's opening.
The series first began in 1996 and has attracted millions of fans worldwide to its action-packed story lines.
Director Brad Bird explained the tricky formula to making a sequel.

"One of the challenges of any sequel particularly a third sequel is you have a lot of audience expectation going in but I think you can run straight at those expectations and play with them and zig when the audience are expecting you to zag and I think that's what we did in this movie."
The flick is packed with creative stunts, explosive action scenes, and even Cruise hanging from the world's tallest building.
Major parts of "Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol" were shot in Dubai, where it officially opens on December 7th.
The film will be released in Japan on December 16th and in the U.S. on December 21st - with other releases around the world staggered over several weeks.
