STORY: Following the sentencing of Conrad Murray to four years behind bars for the death of Michael Jackson, the family of the deceased pop singer voiced their approval of the judge's maximum levy against the physician.
"Well, four years is not enough for someone's life, it won't bring him back, but at least he got the maximum, I thought the judge was very, very, very fair, and I thank him. I said, four years won't bring my son back, but that's the law, so the judge gave him the maximum, so I thank the judge, and I thank the prosecutors, and I think everything went well," said Jackson's mother, Katherine, accompanied by another son, Jermaine, who said "100 year was not enough" for Dr. Murray.
For sister La Toya, "justice was done."
The parents and sisters and brothers of Michael Jackson had been a mainstay of the trial since its start in late September, arriving and departing daily through a phalanx of photographers, television cameramen and reporters.
