London's Roundhouse was packed on Wednesday with rock royalty for the Classic Rock Roll of Honour.
Legendary guitarist Jeff Beck scooped the highest accolade of the evening - "The Living Legend" award and treated guests to a performance with fellow rock legend Chrissie Hynde.
Although the guitar player has decades of live performances under his belt, he admitted to a bit of nervousness.

"Are you kidding!? Yeah I am shaking, right now I am just camouflaging it very well. If I didn't have to play I would be having a wonderful time but I have to keep my head together for playing."
Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor was there to pick up Re-Issue Of The Year for their 'Re-Issues' package of their five albums. Celebrating forty years in the business, May said he was happy about the reaction they got.

"I am surprised, very surprised at the reaction that we got, because you do it and you have no idea whether it will connect or not, it could have been preaching to the converted, the fact that people have picked um up and gone - wow never heard that before and love it, is great. So it has been a very surprising and rewarding experience."
Celebrating an anniversary of another kind was KISS frontman and host of the evening Gene Simmons who arrived with new wife Shannon Tweed. The couple had finally gotten married after 28 years together and said their relationship has improved:

Other winners on the night included The Who, The Manic Street Preachers, Steve Winwood and The Foo Fighters.
