Congress President and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi said that Mahatma Gandhi NREGA has helped to create a new energy into the rural masses in the country. While addressing the MGNREGA Sammelan, she said that many underprivileged people including dalits and adivasis benefitted by this scheme. The important achievement of this policy is that the major beneficiaries are women said Sonia Gandhi.
