PLEASE NOTE: EDIT CONTAINS CONVERTED 4:3 MATERIAL Trouble flared in New York during this march through Manhattan in a show of solidarity with economic protesters elsewhere who've been forced to move on. Some 500 people made the journey from the Occupy Wall Street base in Zuccotti Park to city hall in Manhattan. On the way back about half of them defied police instructions to stay on the sidewalk. More than a dozen people were arrested as the demonstrators ran through traffic. Most of the protesters arrived back at the Occupy Wall Street encampment about three hours later. The sympathy march was prompted by a police crackdown on protesters in Oakland, California, in which a former U.S. Marine was critically injured. Paul Chapman, Reuters
