One of the biggest nights of the British music industry calendar, the Q awards, saw Adele, U2 and Coldplay winning big.
Adele, who's had a stellar year with her latest album "21", has recently been plagued with throat problems and is being forced to rest her dolcet tones.

Her male counterpart Tinie Tempah won for Best Male, while U.S. singer Bon Iver won Album of the Year.
The most memorable speech of the night should have gone to Noel Gallagher, who won the Q Icon award.
He reached number one on Sunday (October 25) for his first solo album since splitting from Oasis.
