Rogen, Kendrick at London Film Festival

It's not the easiest of subjects to talk about.
But when faced with a potentially terminal illness, it seems laughter really is the best medicine.
At least that's the idea behind "50/50" - a new film starring Seth Rogen, Anna Kendrick and Joseph-Gordon-Levitt.
Rogen and Levitt play best friends whose lives are changed when Levitt's character is diagnosed with cancer.
The film deals with many of the awkward and funny moments that often go untold when dealing with a serious illness.
At the movie's European premiere at the London Film Festival, Rogen praised his co-star for his ability to go the extra mile, including a scene which left many audiences guessing.
SOUNDBITE: Seth Rogen, Actor, saying:
"We did actually shave his head, and I did actually shave part of it, and that was the first day of filming, which is very trusting cause who knows how it was going to go (laughs). I mean, he's one of the best actors I've ever worked with."
The movie is based on the real-life experiences of the production's own screenwriter Will Reiser, who has now beaten cancer.
SOUNDBITE: Will Reiser, Screenwriter, saying (English):
"You know, I think that's what happens when you're sort of back into a corner and, you know, when you're in the darkest places is when you find, sometimes you find the most humour and the most light."
Anna Kendrick plays a therapist and she said she too learned some of life's lessons from doing the film.
SOUNDBITE: Anna Kendrick, Actress, saying (English):
"Everybody wants to say the right thing but no one really knows how. Maybe the best way is to treat someone the way you always did."
"50/50" is out in U.S. cinemas now and will be released in the UK on November 25.
