(ROUGH CUT ONLY - NO REPORTER NARRATION)
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin arrives in Beijing, on his first foreign trip since setting his sights on reclaiming the presidency.
As Prime Minister, Putin's main focus has been domestic, but this two-day visit is likely to kick off his return to the forefront of Russian foreign policy ahead of a March election in which he is expected to win a six-year term as president.
In his meeting with China's leaders, Putin has to address a challenging relationship with Russia's powerful neighbour, whose growth is both an opportunity and a potential threat for Moscow.
