He's referring, in particular, to the abstract art of the '50s. Albino's woman is a woman from the 1950s with a New York attitude with a passionate heart. This is the mood of the collection, says D'Amato. Shapes are straight or A-line and very simple. They were picked up from the '50s and include kimono leaves as prints to embellish, skinny pants, or bigger pants with a masculine quality. Models wear color under the eyes and and across the side in a diagonal stripe. They prepare for the show in hair and makeup and then take their final rehearsal walk.
