Jewel first came to prominence in the mid-nineties, when her expressive, crystalline voice stood out as a marked contrast to some of the more aggressive female artists of the time.
Her debut album, "Pieces Of You", sold millions around the world and a new star was born. Her career has broadened to include poetry reading and acting but the music has remained at the heart of everything she does and she continues to sell vast quantities of albums.
"Live At Humphrey's By The Bay" was her first DVD release, filmed at the end of 2001 on the tour in support of her "This Way" album.
