ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
STORY: Speaking to reporters on behalf of her family after an Italian court overturned Amanda Knox's murder conviction, her sister Deanna says, "We are all thankful that Amanda's nightmare is over."
Deanna thanked Knox's legal team, supporters who had reached out to the family and the court for their decision.
"We are thankful to the court for having the courage to look for the truth and to overturn this conviction," she said outside of the Perugia courthouse.
The Italian court cleared 24-year-old American Amanda Knox and her former boyfriend of the 2007 killing of British student Meredith Kercher and ordered they be freed on Monday after nearly four years in prison for a crime they always denied committing.
