Mulberry 40th Anniversary, New York Fashion Week Spring 2012

To celebrate their 40th anniversary, the brand is throwing a large fashion and celeb-filled bash to celebrate the momentous occasion. The party takes place on the rooftop of Big Sky Studios. "We're in New York for the Fashion Week Mulberry party, the hottest party taking place during New York's Fashion Week," says socialite Lydia Hearst. Fans of the brand and on hand for the festivities are reality star Louise Roe and actress Maggie Gyllenhaal. "I think they're appealing to people who like those things," says Maggie of the quality bags. "I think there's something effortlessly chic about Mulberry," adds actress Rose Byrne, also at the party. Alexa Chung and Michelle Trachtenberg also make appearances. Michelle also refers to the new flagship store located on Spring Street in New York City. The band Kasabian provides the music for the big to-do. Harley Viera Newton provides the backing for the star studded party with Teen Vogue editor Andrew Bevan. Other celebs at the gala event include Solange Knowles and King of Leon band member Jared Followill. Louise Roe also attended the children's themed party which also marked Mulberry's Mix Tape Tour, a series of gigs around the world debuting with Kasabian.
