Many schools reopen early in Tripoli

In a Tripoli elementary school, Libya'a new flag is raised as children sing their country's new national anthem.
Many schools in the capital welcomed students back to their classrooms on Saturday following the summer break - weeks ahead of the normal return date and after a period of dramatic change in Libya's leadership
Schools like this one may not have a curriculum, books or uniforms yet, but there are plenty of enthusiastic staff on hand, ready to teach.
They say they will work with the materials they have, and instruct the children about the recent revolution.
SOUNDBITE)(Arabic) TEACHER, NAIMA AL-SHARIF, SAYING:
"We started the first day with happiness, a new regime and a time of freedom after 40 years of oppression."
This young student says she hopes the anti-Gaddafi fighters fighters will be victorious and "the blood of the martyrs not wasted."
Interim government forces are continuing to fight to capture remaining territory as well as Gaddafi himself and several of his sons.
