No more second fiddle for teen heartthrob Taylor Lautner - the Hollywood hunk is stepping out of the "Twilight" franchise and into the leading role in the action-thriller "Abduction."
Lautner was welcomed by the now customary screams of adoring fans as he attended the red carpet for the film's premiere at Hollywood's famous Grauman's Chinese Theater.
He was joined on the red carpet by his co-stars, including Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs and newcomer Lily Collins, soon to be seen as "Snow White", who plays his love interest in the movie.

Lautner stars as a young man who discovers that his life as he knows it has been fabricated.
The quest for his true identity puts him at the centre of a greater conspiracy and makes him the target of trained killers.
The star said he had to be at the top of his game for the action packed thriller - for the acting as well as the stunts.
