Firefighters are said to be making some progress containing this destructive wildfire in Texas but it's a long and desperate battle.
The huge blaze had destroyed more than 1, 300 homes on Friday.
The Forest Service says more than three dozen fires are still burning across the state.
Thousands of people have been forced to flee their homes.
So far four people have died in the fires that broke out over the Labor Day weekend.
At least 120, 000 acres of land have been reduced to an ashy waste ground.
Since November wildfires have claimed more than 3.6 million acres in Texas fed by a continuing drought that shows no sign of easing.
