There will be a bloodbath during the time of the Dajjal (anti-messiah) and Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh); however Dajjal (anti-messiah) will be the one shedding blood. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) stops blood; Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is the anti-blood.
