LYRICS
One last look over your shoulder
You bow before your mother
You head across ephemeral borders
All our faith is in you
If you stay here, they'll steal your soul
In secret we will pray for you, go!
Little Buddha, you will march to Dharamsala
Little Buddha, it's just after Himalaya
Dont you ask us the reason why
This land is no longer yours
No one has the right to rule, over you!
May be the answer is out there
Beyond the wind, the snow and cold
They will teach you that over there; go!
Little Buddha...
With tears in your childs eyes
You turn your face and straight ahead
You will march to the setting sun, go on!
Little Buddha, one day you will, you will come back home
Little Buddha, it's just before Himalaya’s dome...

PROJECT
FREE BETTI plans to make different languages and original versions of the same Dharamsala song. Written in 1998, the song touches the destiny of Tibetan children who cross the Himalayas risking their lives fleeing their homeland to take refuge in India or Nepal. English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Tibetan, Hindi & Sign Language versions are on line on Youtube and Dailymotion. We are working on the Arabic version and we are looking for German, Japanese, Russian, Chinese and other native tongue performers, you are welcome. Please contact us : free-betti@live.fr
