The Mosaic Centre in Jericho is an NGO affiliated with the department of tourism for the Jericho and Jordan valley. With the help of EU funding the centre has discovered that there are 27 archaeological sites in the area which possess ancient mosaics. At the centre young people learn the skills to restore ancient mosaics, as well as developing new skills in the mosaic industry.
