A sandcastle builder in America has broken his own world record for the tallest sandcastle in the world.
Ed Jarret is the man behind the sculpture, he began work on the sandcastle on 1st April and spent up to 15 hours a day sculpting 1.6million pounds of sand into a 38 foot high castle. Jarret didn’t achieve this incredible result alone though, he had help from over 1,500 volunteers to get the sculpture finished in time for the final recording of its dimensions.
When officials got to the site on Friday Jarret’s sandcastle was 38 feet high (11.6m), that’s 6.5 feet higher than his previous record, and the equivalent of 7.6 Kylie Minogues high!
