As a boss of public relations company, and a good friend of the main character, Cheng Wei gets a call from his client complaining about one of his employees. After trying to smooth the situation, he then calls his employee; however, his employee hangs up the phone. Being fed up with that reaction from the employee, he calls Meggy. Meggy knows that something’s wrong, but he says things are going well. He even invites his wife to go out for dinner at a Japanese restaurant, asking if her friends want to go with them as well. He gives her a air kiss, hanging up the phone, and gives himself a cup of coffee.
