Sukhwinder Singh absent from the Oscars

Just after the overwhelming success of Slumdog Millionaire at the Oscars, and after A R Rahman bagged the Oscar trophy for Jai Ho, we have still to wonder why was Gulzar and Sukhwinder Singh not present at the show. They too were an integral part of the song. Sukhwinder singh attended a press meet and spoke about why he was not present at the biggest award function.
