"The hypocrites, both men and women, are all of a kind: they enjoin what is evil and forbid what is good and withhold their hands from doing good." [Surah Taubah]
We live in a time where we are questioned about our Islamic values.
We are asked: Who are you? To whom is our loyalty?
Is identity the land you are from? Is identity the cricket team you support? Is identity the clothes we wear or the cars we drive?
Or is identity the values we hold that emanate from the belief we hold?
The pressure by the society we live in to integrate and become as they are can be difficult.
Now more than ever it is important that we see the dangers of leaving our Islamic values.
When the pages of history are written, do we want our names to be amongst those who stood for Islam, or do we want to be the ones watching from the sidelines?
