Anna Wintour has declared the US fashion industry could learn a lot from Britain.

The American Vogue editor-in-chief is enjoying London Fashion Week, being spotted in the front row of all the top catwalk shows including Topshop's Cruella de Vil-inspired collection.

"That's what's so great about British fashion, they always have a sense of humour. It's something we could afford to have a bit more of in the States," Wintour said.

The fashion institution was spotted at Christopher Kane's show on Monday, and tipped him for great things.

"He's a young man with a huge future in front of him, he's also a lovely person."

It is not all work and no play for Wintour though, as she revealed that while in London she will make time to catch up with family and visit the theatre.
