Happy Birthday, Automobile! Motorized vehicles have been around for 125 years - an event to be celebrated.Daimler Benz invited 1,400 guests to the birthplace of the car in Stuttgart, where Carl Benz first developed his automobile fueled by gasoline in 1886. The carmaker also took the opportunity to introduce the latest version of the SLK, which comes equipped with a number of new electronic assistants and a sun-roof that reacts to light conditions.
