The hit 80's TV Series, Dallas, is reportedly about to experience a reprising, with some of the soaps original cast members.

Larry Hagman, now 79, will return in his role of JR Ewing, a Texan oil baron villain.

JR was the show's lead character and appeared in every one of the series' 357 episodes.

He was also at the centre of Dallas' famous cliffhanger 'Who Shot JR?', which received viewing figures of 360 million worldwide.

Actress Linda Gray will also return as Sue Ellen, JR's on-again-off-again alcoholic wife, and Patrick Duffy reappears as Bobby Ewing.

In the new version of Dallas, viewers will see the Ewings and their offspring do battle over who owns the family's oil business.
