Jamelia and Pixie Lott caught in bomb scare

Jamelia and Pixie Lott had their birthday celebrations cut short when they were asked to evacuate the club due to a bomb scare nearby.

A man had broken into an Accessorize store on Regent Street, in London, and was threatening to blow himself up.

The pair were celebrating at nearby celebrity haunt Movida, and the club had to be evacuated.

The early end to the night did not seem to upset Jamelia though, the singer tweeted: "Thanks to (my friends) Movida and all my amazing rebels for the best party... It was the BOMB (pun intended)."

Policemen later arrested the man and no-one was injured.
